The annual Great Plates of Downtown promotion raised $105,661 this year and has contributed over $1,262,980 since its inception, helping to provide more than 2,525,000 meals for those in need. Championed by the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority, Great Plates was established in 2006 to boost business for local restaurants during the slower months and has also served as a fundraiser for the Food Bank for Larimer County since 2008. The number of participating restaurants has increased from 29 in 2008 to 50 in 2024, demonstrating the community’s dedication to fighting hunger.
