In addition to delicious drinks, Human Bean Northern Colorado will be serving hope for victims of violence in our area for their next Guest Barista Day. On Thursday, April 4, 10 percent of sales made at the 6180 E. Crossroads Boulevard location in Loveland will be donated to Alternatives to Violence. Alternatives to Violence provides free services to domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking survivors, helping them to heal emotionally and physically in a safe environment. Services include emergency shelter, court advocates and support groups.
Representatives from Alternatives to Violence will be onsite from 9-11 a.m. to talk to customers and distribute information about the nonprofit. Any cash donations made by customers will also be donated to the agency.
“We are so grateful to Human Bean Northern Colorado for giving us the opportunity to share our services with their customers and raise awareness of our mission,” says Rose Marie Massaro, communication and development manager at Alternatives to Violence. “We are so appreciative of everything The Human Bean does to help those in need in our community.”
