Future Legends is proud to announce the creation of u-20 academy teams for both Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC and Northern Colorado Rain FC.
“We are excited to provide a professional pathway for u-16-u-20 players in our newly formed u-20 Academy team,” says academy cirector Kevin Ireland. “Northern Colorado is a hotbed of soccer talent on both the boys and girls pathways. We are excited to see where this project can go over the next three to five years and what some of our Academy prospects can go on to achieve in the professional game.”
Both u-20 teams will participate primarily in the USL Academy structure, along with potential other competitive leagues. Players may also have additional avenues to play, including in Hailstorm and Rain first team matches on academy contracts.
The addition of the u-20 teams is part of Future Legends’ ongoing, multi-faceted efforts to grow the presence of youth soccer on the Complex and in Northern Colorado. Stay tuned for more news about big things happening with youth soccer at Future Legends coming soon.
