Enjoy Luxury Round-Trip Travel to Denver’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Want to experience one of the country’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parades without the hassle of driving, parking and finding a good spot to watch? The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures in Fort Collins has organized a perfect solution for you.
The Museum’s Global Adventures club has arranged a NOCO Party Bus on Saturday, March 16, for premier luxury transportation to downtown Denver to enjoy more than 10,000 parade marchers and 200 entrants, including pipe bands, step dancers and fabulous floats sponsored by organizations and businesses. Nearly half a million people are expected for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade to toast a patron saint of Ireland. The first St. Patrick’s Day parade in Denver was in 1889, and the event is an annual must-see affair.
Participants will meet at 8 a.m. on March 16 at the Harmony Park & Ride at I-25 and Harmony Road in Fort Collins. Committee members of the Global Adventures club will have secured a space on the sidewalk at the historic Dairy Block in downtown Denver. The parade is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m., and the space will be near facilities for breaks and refreshments. The return trip will arrive at Harmony Park & Ride by 4 p.m.
Reservations are $80 per person, and registration is required by 5 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at globalvillagemuseum.org. Registrants are asked to bring a small, folding portable chair to view the festivities and a cell phone to maintain contact with the group.
