Paradox Fine Art Gallery, the latest addition to Loveland’s vibrant art scene—a combination art gallery, art bar and art venue—is thrilled to announce its inaugural art show in honor of Loveland’s rich history with LEGO. This will be a juried show by none other than Denver’s own Andrew Novick.
In 1965, the city witnessed the construction of one of the first LEGO manufacturing factories in the United States. The 50,000-square-foot building was uniquely designed to resemble LEGO bricks along its exterior. In order to celebrate all things LEGO and a cool little nugget of Loveland history, Paradox curated a LEGO-themed art show.
Paradox Gallery invites artists to submit LEGO-themed artworks that explore, celebrate and interpret the Paradox of life—its highs and lows, struggles and triumphs and the complexities of human nature, both the good and the evil. Have fun and embrace the bizarre as we eagerly encourage a myriad of interpretations on this intriguing theme.
The invitation extends to all Colorado artists 18 and over, and we welcome submissions in all mediums with a maximum artwork size of 36 inches in any direction. There is a $25 entry fee for each submission, with a maximum of three submissions per person. All submitted works must be sturdy, wire-ready for hanging and/or prepared for installation in the gallery. The gallery retains a 30% commission on sales. Selected artworks will be featured in an exhibition at Paradox, and awards will be presented for Best in Show & Runner Up (Juror’s choice) as well as Fan Favorite (determined by viewer vote).
