For Fort Collins Launches Shop Local Pledge

For Fort Collins, a campaign by the City of Fort Collins dedicated to promoting and supporting local businesses, is proud to announce the launch of its Shop Local Pledge, which enters people in a chance to win a NoCo Nosh gift card. The Shop Local Pledge, found online at forfortcollins.com, aims to encourage residents to make a conscious effort to shop at locally owned businesses this holiday season.

Shopping local has never been more important. By taking the Shop Local Pledge, residents can make a lasting impact on their friends and neighbors by supporting their businesses right here in Fort Collins. The pledge serves as a commitment to put their money back into the community, contributing to the success of local entrepreneurs and small business owners, while also investing in the future of Fort Collins.

“We believe that by shopping locally, we can create a vibrant and thriving community for all,” says Shannon Hein, small business program manager for the City of Fort Collins. “The Shop Local Pledge is an opportunity for residents to show their support, not only during the holiday season but throughout the year.” To participate in the Shop Local Pledge, community members can visit the For Fort Collins website and fill out the pledge form. As an incentive to take the pledge, participants will have a chance to win a $25 gift card from NoCo Nosh, an online local food delivery platform, to continue supporting local businesses.

By spreading the word about the Shop Local Pledge, For Fort Collins aims to raise awareness of the importance of shopping local and the positive impact it has on the community. The organization encourages community members to share their pledge on social media using the hashtags #SupportLocal and #ForFortCollins. In addition to the Shop Local Pledge, For Fort Collins offers a range of resources and tools for business owners in its free Business Toolkit, which helps them promote their products and services during the holiday season.
