The Spargetoberfest 5K is a family- and pet-friendly run through Wellington neighborhoods. This year’s race included games, music, refreshments and even a slip-and-slide along the course. After crossing the finish line, racers were awarded a medal and made their way to relax in the taproom, browse local vendors on Sparge Field or watch a few of Wellington’s finest get dropped into a dunk tank. All proceeds benefitted the Wellington Food Bank, Waverly-Wellington Kiwanis Club and the Wellington American Legion.
