One Sweet Summer Wednesday Concert Series Continues with the Loveland Giants on August 23rd
The Loveland Downtown District is excited to continue the new tradition of featuring the “Loveland Giants” in the One Sweet Summer Concert Series on August 23, 2023. For the second summer, the Loveland Giants will perform as a collaboration of a few of Loveland’s favorite local musicians, including Steve Manshel, Dave Beegle, Wendy Woo, and Vi Wickham.
“The concept was born during a downtown fundraiser concert in 2018 when Wendy Woo, Steve Manshel, Dave Beegle and Franklin Taggart all performed separately, then spontaneously joined together on stage to perform a few songs. The energy of the talents all together was something we wanted to bring back.” said Abby Powell, Events and Partnerships Manager for the Loveland Downtown District. “Franklin Taggart cannot make it this year, but we will continue to hold a special spot for him to be part of the event in the future.”
The Wednesday Night concert will also feature food vendors and downtown craft breweries. All events in the series are free and open to the public with free parking available throughout downtown and in The Foundry parking garage. You’re invited to join on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 pm to celebrate some of our best local talent.
