United Way of Larimer County, Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County, Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center and the Early Childhood Council of Larimer County are partnering to introduce a new child and family campus in Loveland with the potential to serve hundreds of children, ages 0 to 18, every day.
This project is just one of 25 grant recipients awarded through the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado’s competitive grant process. This month, the Berthoud, Estes Valley, Fort Collins and Loveland Community Fund Committees (CFCs) awarded 25 charitable organizations grants totaling $162,820.
• The Berthoud CFC awarded four nonprofits a total of $10,100.
• The Estes Valley CFC awarded eight nonprofits a total of $27,800.
• The Fort Collins CFC awarded 10 nonprofits grants totaling $94,920.
• The Loveland CFC selected three nonprofits to receive a total of $30,000.
“Through the thoughtful evaluation of our volunteer committee members, the Community Foundation is able to support projects across Northern Colorado that will make a meaningful impact,” shares Claire Bouchard, Foundation director of community engagement and communications. “We continue to be impressed by the innovative nonprofits working to strengthen our communities and are honored to support their important work.” The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado hosts a competitive grant process twice annually, benefiting charitable projects serving Northern Colorado. Local volunteer fund committees review nonprofit applications and select grant recipients in their respective communities.
