Organized by Habitat for Humanity, Women Build empowers women to help build affordable homes in their community. The two-week event has volunteers working alongside future Habitat homeowners under the guidance of construction experts. NOCO Style gathered a group of volunteers to collaborate on the landscaping for Habitat Homes in Loveland for a day. 58 percent of low-income families in Larimer County allocate more than 50 percent of their income toward housing expenses, the majority of whom are single moms.
