1st Annual Northern Colorado Ninja Warrior Challenge Raises $87,539.25 to Benefit the UNC Cancer Rehabilitation Institute

The University of Northern Colorado Cancer Rehabilitation Institute (UNCCRI), a cutting-edge exercise-based rehabilitation institute located on the UNC campus, is excited to announce an extremely successful fundraising event with the non-profit organization Frank Gale – Faith Not Fear raising a record-breaking $87,539.25.

The event took place in Bank of Colorado Arena where over 138 Warriors participated in a challenging, but more importantly, fun event. Each team of four completed a demanding obstacle course in which every Warrior chose two out of eight obstacles. The course was not only a physical obstacle course but the incorporated fundraising effort once entering into the Final 4 Bracket. The event had over 506 donations to Warriors, 63 volunteers to run the event, over 300 lunches, provided for without charge by the Rio Grande Restaurant, and had 14 Major Sponsors. Most importantly, the Northern Colorado Ninja Warrior Challenge Event involved over 400 people who had a GREAT TIME!
