Crossroads Safehouse is pleased to announce the hiring of a new Executive Director, Lori Kempter, beginning March 13, 2023.
The Crossroads Board of Directors, members of staff, and community supporters are thrilled to welcome Lori to the organization. She brings with her over ten years of experience and an established track record of helping organizations to reach their goals and amplify their impact on the community.
Most recently, Lori served as Executive Director for Aspire 3D, providing services for Loveland Housing Authority residents, serving youth, families, veterans, and older adults. Previously, she worked as the Executive Director of Family Promise Cheyenne and also served as a therapist at Thrive-Haven, a youth residential facility. She has completed a Master’s Degree Program in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Lori will join Crossroads at a time when domestic violence continues to impact our community. According to the Colorado Attorney General’s Domestic Violence Fatality Report, 2021 was the deadliest year for domestic violence in Colorado (since tracking began in 2017.)
We are confident that with Lori’s experience, vision, and belief in our mission, we can continue to grow our impact and work towards a community free of domestic violence and interpersonal abuse.
