The 9th Annual Polar Bear Run & Plunge took place at Horsetooth Reservoir two days after a winter storm dumped a foot of snow. Over 600 runners and walkers, ranging in age from 4 to 84, completed the 5k, and 500 brave souls did the polar plunge. Participants celebrated winter and welcomed the challenge while enjoying live music, comedy from Ginger Whale and food and beverage at the beach pavilion. Larmier County Dive Rescue Team, CSU Triathlon Team and Poudre and Rock Mountain high school cross country teams were the beneficiaries of the event.
