Alternatives to Violence is pleased to announce that it has received a $75,000 Daniels Fund grant. The grant will be used for general operating support.
“We are so grateful to receive this grant from Daniels Fund. They have been a significant contributor to maintaining operations here at Alternatives to Violence, as well as many other nonprofits around Colorado,” said Executive Director for Alternatives to Violence, Kari Clark.
“Funding general operations is essential to our organization and our clients in fulfilling our mission of providing shelter, advocacy, education and resources for people impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking,” Clark added.
The Daniels Fund, established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program, and ethics initiative.
