Cowboy Christmas is a small hometown holiday celebration of rural Berthoud and an effort to promote downtown Berthoud businesses. Santa arrived with the Larimer County Horsemen Association on horseback with riders singing carols as they rode through Berthoud to the Rancher’s Wife. Attendees enjoyed photo opportunities with Santa and Christine Torres’ vintage 1949 Dodge Firetruck dressed for the season. Folks enjoyed a festive hot cocoa bar and browsed local artisans and gifts available at the Rancher’s Wife. The event concluded with the Berthoud light parade and tree-lighting ceremony at Fickel Park.
