Northern Colorado’s Luna’s Tacos Releases Limited Edition Holiday Hot Sauces, “Penny’s Peppers”
to Benefit Canine Organizations
Luna’s Tacos and Tequila are proud to release their small-batch, hand-stirred holiday hot sauces for the holiday season. Luna’s will have a collection called “Holiday Movie Classics.” It will have three new hot sauces with the names of Luna’s chef Chris Wornowicz’s favorite holiday movies. In addition, Luna’s will be releasing a fourth hot sauce this year called “Penny’s Peppers” to benefit local animal rescues.
This special hot sauce, Penny’s Peppers, is a fired-up Thai-inspired peanut sauce that you will want to pour on everything. Proceeds from the sale of Penny’s Peppers benefit the Humane Society of Weld County and Golden Growls Senior Rescue. Chef Chris Wornowicz of Luna’s Tacos makes these hot sauces himself and is excited to share his creations with the world. “To be able to have fun this holiday season with some of my favorite movies, share these house-made concoctions, and benefit these two awesome canine organizations all at the same time is wonderful!” he says. “We are always proud to support the community.”
While “Penny’s Peppers” is the one that has gone to the dogs, feel free to pick up a few bottles from the Holiday Movie Collection featuring “Ernest Saves Christmas Dinner” (roasted carrots, ginger, and Carolina Reapers), “Home Alone Eating Tacos” (smoked tomato, garlic, ghost peppers), and “Die Hard Is Not A Christmas Movie” (plums, Trinidad Scorpions, gochujang, ginger).
Owner and operator Brian Seifried loves the hot sauces and uses them himself. He says, “These make excellent gifts for the hot sauce lovers out there as well as great options when looking for the perfect item to bring to friends and family gatherings. Your tastebuds will thank you for the kick, and the dogs will thank you for the donation.
