Dementia Together hosted a sock hop at Timberline Church for those living with dementia and their care partners. Dementia Together is an organization that is committed to cultivating joy and building stronger connections for people living with dementia, their care partners and our communities. Soda fountains and I Love Lucy decor set the scene and root beer floats were served to match. The event kicked off with a few rounds of bingo, then NoCo Swing Dance Club instructors taught the jitterbug. Attendees posed for fun-loving ‘50s-themed photos. Everyone sang along to some of their favorite tunes and guests reminisced on their memories of past sock hops.
