Using Sandwiches and Beer to Lift Up the Local Veteran Community
Snack Attack Specialty Sandwiches & Brews, a local family and veteran-owned sandwich bar, is proud to partner once again with Odell Brewing Company for the 5th Annual CommUNITY on Tap Veterans 5K to benefit Honor Street, Northern Colorado’s newest veteran-specific 501(c)(3) non-profit.
Honor Street was recently founded by one of Snack Attack’s owners, Shawn Storeby, with the mission to help local veterans with basic and fundamental daily needs to keep them on the straight path to success and thriving in their every day lives. This event is their official launch party with the mission of raising $5,000 through this exclusive 5K event by bringing the community together to move, eat, drink, and have fun while raising awareness for a special cause.
This veteran’s weekend event is unlike any others. The $30 event ticket is 100% donated to the non-profit and includes a casual “fun run style” 5K, handcrafted breakfast sandwich from Snack Attack, Odell Brewing pint, post movement goodies, a “show your patriotic pride” costume contest, giveaways and so much more! Not to mention, the event is great for all ages, all walking or running levels, family, and dog friendly!

Snack Attack Specialty Sandwiches and Brews, owned by Shawn and Lauren Storeby, opened in 2017 with the purpose of serving up the best sandwiches paired with the best craft beers in Northern Colorado alongside creating community experiences that bring people together through events that create a positive impact.
