Over 400 guests attended the Respite Care Luncheon presented by Bank of Colorado on April 27, 2022. An inspiring video reflecting on memories old and new was shown that highlighted the impact Respite Care has made on two families and their children’s lives. Additionally, two parents shared moving stories about their families’ experiences with Respite Care. The event concluded by recognizing LeAnn Massey’s retirement after 25 years of service and introducing Kristi Briles, the new Executive Director. Including gifts, multiple-year pledges and a generous challenge gift, the event raised more than $430,000. These funds will go directly toward sustaining Respite Care’s mission. Respite Care provides specialized care for children with developmental disabilities in Larimer County, providing peace of mind and respite for the entire family.
