The second annual Uplift: FoCo returned to the Aggie Theatre, featuring music, art and community to raise funds for The Matthews House youth music program. The show opened with inspiring performances by students from the program, Teddy Mcrea and Flor Molina, who were backed by the Fort Collins School of Rock House Band. Following that, the all-star house band, composed of Eric Thorin, Joe Lessard, Eric Wiggs, Dusty Rider and Russick Smith, supported powerhouse singer/songwriters Liz Barnez, Mary Claxton and Julia Kirkwood. The evening also featured two live painters, Tyler Boeyink and Werner Schreiber, and a silent auction with over 50 art pieces, experiences and products unique to Northern Colorado. The event raised 40 percent more than its first year.
