For 26 years, the Big Blue NightLights Tree, located in the courtyard of First Presbyterian Church, has served as a ‘beacon of hope’ for children who have been abused and neglected. Families have made it a tradition to attend the lighting of the 50-foot tree with over 32,000 lights. This year the event has a guest appearance by the relatable YouTube comedian, Dude Dad, who announced the winner of the 33-pound chocolate Santa. The evening included live music, Santa Claus and an inspiring speech by one of the Realities For Children’s triumph awards recipients.
