Berthoud and Estes Valley Fund Committees, Loveland Generations announce grants
The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado offers monetary support to nonprofits and charitable projects through grant and program distributions. Local fund committees review nonprofit applications and select grant recipients in their respective communities. This year, the Berthoud Community Fund Committee, Estes Valley Community Fund Committee, and
Loveland Generations, a committee-advised fund of the Community Foundation, awarded 34 charitable organizations a combined total of over $150,000.
The Berthoud Community Fund Committee (CFC) prioritizes projects that help build local community engagement, preserve Berthoud as a great place to live and raise children, and achieve obvious and meaningful outcomes. The Berthoud CFC awarded nine nonprofits a total of $35,550.
The Estes Valley Community Fund Committee (CFC) works to support projects and programs that directly serve residents, enhance the community, and provide assistance to the diverse local population, as well as encourage innovative, sustainable actions that will make a positive difference in the future. The Estes Valley CFC awarded seventeen nonprofits and projects a total of $94,330. Loveland Generations supports projects and programs that benefit Loveland residents, with preference given to organizations that specifically serve Loveland youth. Loveland Generations awarded eight nonprofits and projects a total of $21,818.
The grant committees and the Community Foundation are honored to assist with these important projects, and encourage community members to show support for their favorite nonprofit organizations. The impact these organizations make in their communities is overwhelmingly positive, and the Foundation could not be prouder to support such meaningful work.
