My Big Day Events organized the second annual socially-distanced Halloween for families, where kids could trick-or-treat safely from their car window. Families drove through a long series of Halloween scenes and candy stops decorated by local businesses, schools and nonprofits. COVID safety measures were in place and sponsors, vendors and volunteers came in costume ready to pass out candy to over 3,000 kiddos. The event was a fundraiser for Thompson Education Foundation for their mission of removing barriers and supporting experiences students need to successfully engage in their academic environment.
