For 75 years, Loveland, the nation’s Sweetheart City has been spreading love across the world by re-mailing valentines with a special stamp and poem. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce, Visit Loveland and partners celebrated the program’s diamond anniversary by unveiling the 2021 stamp, valentine card and verse, postmark, U.S. Postal Service love stamp and details on reimagined Sweetheart season activities in the city. The 2021 collector’s envelope artwork was designed by Corry McDowell and the 2021 card and verse were created by Beata McKee. The conference revealed upcoming valentine events including The Quest for Dan Cupid, exciting lights and arts installations, the Valentine Group Wedding, the 2021 Sweetheart Classic Race and a Virtual Valentines Event through Backstage Rialto. Loveland’s 2021 official lovely valentine libations include The Grimm Brothers Brewhouse’s Bleeding Heart beer and Top of the Lake Coffee Roasters gingersnap flavored coffee and Sweet Heart Winery’s 2018 Malbec with a custom designed label by local Loveland artist, Billie Colson.
