Keeping Dreams Alive Gala

Realities for Children Charities presented the 23rd annual Human Services Awards Gala this year as a live broadcast. The Master of Ceremonies was Fort Collins Police Chief Jeff Swaboda. In addition to honoring local businesses, child protection workers, law enforcement and community members that go above and beyond in meeting the needs of children who have been abused, neglected or at-risk, this year’s Gala featured the Keeping Dreams Alive programdesigned to support and encourage children ages 6-14 who are struggling to keep their dreams of a better tomorrow alive while living in at-risk situations. This year’s broadcast gala celebrated the 25th anniversary of Realities for Children’s services and was viewed by nearly 2,000 people, raising over $85,000 in emergency funding for children in need.
