Kickstarter for Local Band “The Annie Oakley”

The Annie Oakley is a local band of identical twin sisters, Jo and Sophia Babb who frequently bring their wise, emotive lyrics, and immaculate, perfectly-matched vocal harmonies to Northern Colorado. They write about themes of new growth and the natural beauty around them, their music has received warm reception across the UK, Europe, and the US.

The Annie Oakley is inviting the community to help them raise $15,465 for their next album, “Second Day of Spring”. This year was not the year we were expecting…all of their shows were cancelled, and everything they had planned for their music changed altogether. Since the beginning of COVID-19, Jo and Sophia have  found healing in creating together. They believe good music is needed now more than ever.

So amidst it all: The Annie Oakley decided to record an album. “We believe the songs we have to share are healing, and needed, but to get them out into the world, we need your help. We’re raising $15,465 to cover the recording and production costs of this album. We have 30 days to fund this album, and it’s all or nothing. We’re in this together – you can be a direct part of the next phase of our career.”

This campaign is all-or-nothing, so if they don’t reach the $15,465 goal by Sunday, November 8th, they won’t be able to bring this album into the world.

It takes 1500 streams to earn just 1 dollar on Spotify. So if you contribute $20, that’s 30,000 streams worth of support – directly going into the creation of this album.

At any level of donation, you will receive a reward along with your digital download of Second Day of Spring. Rewards range from signed physical CDs, vinyls of our record, t-shirts, stickers, and exclusive demos to an Annie Oakley live-stream concert in your own home!
