Fortified Collaborations is partnering with the iconic Holiday Twin Drive In Theatre in Fort Collins to present the first event in their Fortified Cinema Bistro series, featuring a multi-course meal shaped by Chef Kevin Grossi of The Regional restaurant, with a movie chosen by him. A ticket to this event buys a memorable experience that supports a community cause we can all appreciate: the crucial need to keep independent restaurants going through the financial hardships posed by Covid.
Stephanie Webb, owner of Holiday Twin says, “The Holiday Twin is delighted to host the Fortified Cinema Bistro on August 16th. Helping our locally owned restaurants is one of the ways we’re supporting our community in these unprecedented times. This will be a unique and fun way to gather safely and enjoy chef Kevin Grossi’s delicious creations.”
The space at the Holiday Twin will seem transformed, as they are not booking to full capacity. Cars arrive and pull up next to a bistro table set for up to four diners. The evening begins with wine and cocktails, appetizers, and live music by Max Mackey in the background as the sun sinks over the foothills.
Dinner entrée featuring Sweet Tea Chicken will be brought to tables by staff from many local restaurants, eager to lend a hand and help others in the industry through these hard times. A classic summer flick – The Great Outdoors – will show after dinner with dessert service, and free popcorn will be available to sweeten the viewing.
