My Big Day Marketing & Events, Visit Loveland and Rhythm EFX teamed up to create the Loveland Drive-In; a pop-up drive-in movie theater that doubled as a fundraising effort for the Thompson Education Foundation. The Loveland Drive-In offered a safe way for people to leave home and enjoy a movie on the big screen. It also encouraged locals and those from surrounding areas to come together and stimulate the local economy. The events brought tourism to Northern Colorado and put over $20,000 back into the hands of folks who have not had work due to COVID-19. It is also estimated that, as a result of the Loveland Drive-In, over $60,000 was generated for small businesses who were involved with the event. All donation dollars received by the Thompson Education Foundation help to continue their mission to support staff and provide TSD students with exceptional educational experiences.
