Since KindConnect launched in November, Realities for Children’s program has made a tremendous impact getting household items from the homes of generous donors into the hands of the children who have sadly suffered abuse, neglect or are at-risk. Since inception, volunteers have delivered 736 items to 333 kids, at the value of $49,221! They have kept beds, dressers, kitchenware, lamps, washers and dryers, TVs, fridges, baby items and couches out of the landfill. Realities for Children volunteers are trained, background-checked and are following all current health and safety recommendations.
