The Town of Timnath invites the community to come together to experience holiday traditions, choir performances and time with friends and neighbors at its Holiday Lighting Festival on Friday, December 6 from 5-7 p.m. The event will take place in Old Town Timnath on Main Street and feature a number of free festive activities.
“It’s great to know that the Holiday Lighting Festival has become a wonderful tradition for our community,” said Mayor of Timnath, Jill Grossman-Belisle. “This special event is not only open to Timnath residents, but the whole Northern Colorado community.”
Accompanied by Santa Claus, Mayor Grossman-Belisle will begin the evening’s festivities by illuminating Main Street. The celebration will continue with carriage rides, ornament decorating, a delicious soup bar for dinner, hot beverages and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to take professional photos with Santa and enjoy holiday performances by Bethke Elementary, Living Rock Church, Preston Middle School, Timnath Elementary and NoCo Theatrix Children’s Theater.
Locally owned retailers will be open for those who want to do some holiday shopping. The event will provide giving opportunities to benefit Santa Cops of Larimer County, a charitable organization that delivers gifts to children in need during the holidays.
