The Northern Colorado Down Syndrome Association hosted its 3rd annual walk on Saturday October 5th, 2019 at the Biergarten at Anheuser Busch in Fort Collins. The NoCo DS Walk exists to bring people together, build awareness, and raise financial support for the NCDSA. Each year our community gathers to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome. This year’s theme, Love + Belonging = Purpose, highlighted the ways that people with Down syndrome contribute to their friends’ and families’ purpose through love and belonging. The NoCo DS Walk has continued to grow each year, with this year having 1,200 attendees. Thanks to the participants, donors, and generous sponsors we were able to raise $54,600 for the NCDSA.
