Garden Party Honoring Fort Collins Symphony’s 70th Season

The Friends of the Symphony will host a festive garden party at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, in Carol Ann and Gary Hixon’s lovely autumn gardens at 3035 West County Road 38E, Fort Collins. The party is the “Prelude” to the Fort Collins Symphony’s 70th Platinum Season.

Guests will stroll the artfully decorated grounds while enjoying the music of Paul Dennis Kopco, delightful libations, and hors d’oeuvres by Welsh Rabbit. The evening will feature short performances by:

  • Colorado State University Trio de Rosé featuring Krystian Salva, Regan DeRossett, and Mitch Smith
  • Violinist Ben Koenig, under the direction of Fort Collins High School Director of Orchestras John Hermanson
  • Tenor Nathan Snyder, accompanied by Anna Hermanson
  • Fort Collins Symphony Quartet featuring Jean Denney, Ethan Hecht, Beth Wells, and Tom Bittinger.
