The Human Bean of Northern Colorado has proudly been involved in supporting community events, fundraising for local nonprofits and honoring the hard workers who reside in this area of the state for many years. During the month of July there will be two different events where the various Human Bean locations will be giving back.
July 11 is Guest Barista Day at the Evans stand, located at 3310 23rd Avenue. From 9-11 a.m., an employee of The Arc of Weld County (AWC) will be working behind the counter in an effort to raise awareness of The Arc and fundraise for their annual pool party. During this time, 10% of all sales in addition to tips will go towards The Arc.
July 18 is Thankful Thursday for all eight locations. This monthly event honors those who work hard to make our community what it is. This month, staff members of the Parks and Recreation industry are invited to show their name badge, ID, or uniform to receive $2 off a 20-ounce drink. Staff members must be present to receive the discount.
About The Arc of Weld County: This organization was established in 1992 and provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Through advocacy and support services, AWC strives to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to learn to advocate on their own behalf. The Annual Pool Party event is for staff, individuals that AWC serves, and anyone who has attended in the past.
