Larimer Humane Society’s 29th annual Fire Hydrant 5K Walk/Run & Paws on the Promenade Expo was held June 1, welcoming more than 700 participants to the Promenade Shops at Centerra. The dog-and-family-friendly event was presented by Poudre Pet & Feed Supply, and featured a 5K fun run/walk, 40 booth vendors, canine demonstrations, contests, a Kids’ Zone, and more. As one of Larimer Humane Society’s largest initiatives of the year, the event raised $74,000 to care for homeless, ill, injured, and abused animals at Larimer Humane Society.
