Celebrate International Women’s Day with G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice! They are a Northern Colorado based international non- profit, hosting its second Women Empowering Women: Justice & Leadership Forum, held from 6:00-8:30 p.m. (MST) on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Everyday Joe’s Coffee House in Fort Collins.
The W.E.W Forum will bring together community leaders from across the region to discuss the theme of Inspiration. Ideas. Innovation. Featured speakers include Hon. Jacki Marsh, the Mayor of Loveland; Dr. Janice Nerger, Dean of the College of Natural Science at Colorado State University, and Gitanjali Rao, 13 year old scientist and inventor. The forum also includes a panel discussion with community leaders and entrepreneurs from advocacy, arts, business, and education: Ann Clarke (Founder, Colorado Women of Influence), Teresa Funke (author and speaker), Deanne Mulvihill (CEO, Berthoud Chamber of Commerce), and Patti Smith (Founder, Her Legacy Project). The event is moderated by Sosamma Samuel-Burnett, Founder/President, G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice.
This event is a free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. The W.E.W Forum is especially for women across all ages, backgrounds, and sectors but all community members are welcome!
