Loveland Local Pup Stars on Shark Tank

We have a T.V star in our presence! Loveland local, ZuGo the toy Yorkie and official “spokespooch” for ZuGoPet was chosen to help present a dog friendly product on Shark Tank! Co-founders Juls Bindi and Carolyn Shewfelt were chosen to appear on the show to pitch ZuGoPet’s multifunctional, crash-tested car seat safety harnesses for pets.

Four years ago Bindi’s company received notification about dogs rescued in a puppy mill bust which is where ZuGo found a family and started his unlikely path to fame. “He’s just been a phenomenal little mascot for her company.” And after a video of the Rocketeer Pack went viral on Facebook, “Shark Tank” came calling, Juls said. ZuGo’s groomers by Centerra made him camera ready for the episode that broadcasted on ABC last night.

Juls and Carolyn Shewfelt asked the “Shark Tank” panelists to invest $100,000 for a 10 percent stake in the company. Though the panelists declined, the offered Juls and Carolyn helpful advice and encouragement to simplify the product. And 5 lb. ZuGo claimed fame on the popular television show and also got to be pretty close to Panelist Kevin O’Leary!
