You don’t often see buddy stories like The Flea and the Professor. Based on an 1874 Hans Christian Andersen fable, this Barrymore Award-winning children’s musical follows a hard-luck scholar and his six-legged pal on a fortune-seeking, shipwreck-surviving, cannibal-fleeing journey of personal discovery.
Talkin’ Broadway calls it “a lot of fun, thanks largely to its witty script. It satisfies the adults in the audience without talking down to the children.”
