October 9 — The Loveland Rotary Club and Thompson Valley Rotary Club, Founders and Presenters of the prestigious Governor’s Art Show & Sale, are proud to generously donate one-third of the net proceeds from the 2018 art show to the Thompson Education Foundation (TEF) Homeless Assistance Fund. The total contribution being awarded is $12,755.
The Governor’s Art Show & Sale is the largest juried fine art show to exclusively feature Colorado Artists. Both Clubs donate thousands of hours and funds in order to ensure the quality and freshness of the show. The Clubs partner with the Loveland Museum Gallery where the show is presented each year.
The goal of TEF’s Homeless Assistance Fund is to ensure education stability and success by providing support and assistance to students and families in homeless situations. Many of these families may not have a house or permanent residence but are working hard and making an effort to have their children educated and get them to school. Both Clubs knew this was a “cause” to support.
The Loveland and Thompson Valley Rotary Club cordially invite you to join them on Tuesday, October 16thfrom 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Loveland Museum located at 503 N. Lincoln Avenue as the Clubs present their donation to TEF for the continued support and assistance they provide to local youth in our community. Both Clubs are honored for the opportunity to help TEF support students and families who face housing challenges in the district and look forward to seeing our students thrive in their lives through education.
