Raptor Program Offers Open House

Summer Open House

It’s time for your face-to-face with one of nature’s fiercest hunters! Join the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program on August 25th, 2018 from 11am-3pm at 720 E. Vine Drive in Fort Collins for an experience unlike any other!

“It’s our busiest time of year,” says Executive Director Carin Avila. “By attending this open house, you are helping the dozens of injured raptors in our hospital get their Second Chance at Freedom.” See how nearly 300 injured raptors are cared for at this facility, learn about raptors and their habitats, and don’t forget to give your support to raptors in need.

Visit the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program for a one-of-a-kind experience learning about Colorado’s raptors on August 25 from 11am-3pm.

With learning activities and many raptors to see, it’s an encounter that will never be forgotten.

About: Since 1987, The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program has rescued and rehabilitated thousands of raptors, educated the public about human/wildlife conflicts, and conducted research to help raptors survive in the wild.

As an independent, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, RMRP is non-government, and is not state or federally funded. We do not receive regular operating support from any national or international humane organizations, but are supported predominantly by recurring or one-time individual gifts, and some foundation and corporate support. Ten staff members and over 140 active volunteers carry out its valuable work.
