Autism advocate and animal scientist Temple Grandin, PhD, delivered an empowering presentation at the seventh annual Meet the Author Luncheon. Confidence and the importance of mentoring young women were at the forefront of the message. Grandin, a Colorado State University professor, presented to 120-plus guests in attendance, with some attendees coming from other states. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit the charitable and educational programs of the Zonta Club of Fort Collins, including scholarship opportunities, and service and advocacy projects that benefit women locally and globally.
