Charity Hockey Game Between FCPD and Cheyenne Fire Department

On May 4th the Fort Collins Police Department and Cheyenne Fire Department are lacing up their skates and going head to head in a charity hockey game at EPIC in Fort Collins to benefit Crossroads Safehouse!

Jodi Brunjes and her husband Adam who is a Fort Collins Police officer,  just finished their second First Responder Hockey Fundraiser which raised $3,000. They are working to bring together different Northern Colorado police and fire departments to raise money for nonprofits of each teams’ choice through hockey! These games are 100% sponsored and all the ice time, food, jerseys, raffles, even the pucks have been donated by supportive, local businesses. Their most recent game was sponsored by Scheels, Sathers Jewelers, Luna’s Tacos, Windermere Real Estate and a few more. They were able to make it so 100% of all the donations and food sales went to both nonprofits.

Their last event brought in over 300 people and had members of the Greeley Police Department taping up their hockey sticks Saturday afternoon before welcoming members of the Fort Collins Police Department for a friendly game of hockey at the Greeley Ice Haus in an event called Faceoff for Children. The game benefited agencies in Weld and Larimer county that offer services for children. Be a part of the NOCO Community fun and support this May!
