Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Every year in September, the Weld County community comes together for the Alzheimer’s Association’s largest fundraising event. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, along with raising money, also provides support, information and services to the community. The event grows in revenue and participants every year as the need for a cure continues to greatly increases. This year over 800 community members attended who helped raise over $110,000! The talented band known as The Bar Hoppers performed lively music, the Morrison Living provided a bountiful breakfast and Meadow View of Greeley was the Title Sponsor. The Honor Family spoke on their story before the Flower Ceremony where participants presented their White Flower representing hope for a first survivor of Alzheimer’s. This day couldn’t happen if it wasn’t for the wonderful volunteers on the Walk Planning Committee who worked tirelessly all year long, as well as the volunteers for the day, participants and donors.
