In honor of Earth Day this year, The Human Bean Northern Colorado is giving back to Audubon Rockies. Ten percent of sales made on Thursday, April 22 at the 1822 South College, Fort Collins location will be donated to Audubon Rockies.
Audubon Rockies is the regional office of the National Audubon Society for Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Using science, outreach, and policy, the organization holistically addresses the core threats facing birds in our region. One of the greatest threats to birds on the Front Range is habitat loss from development. In response, Audubon Rockies’ Habitat Hero program helps people create habitat for birds through bird-friendly gardening. By teaching and encouraging people to garden with native plants, they are making communities more bird-friendly and water-efficient. While supplies last, customers who make a purchase at any one of The Human Bean Northern Colorado locations will receive a free flower seed packet, courtesy of High Country Gardens. High Country Gardens offers plants, products and information supporting long-term ecological balance and works to sustain the love of gardening for generations to come.
