The Governor’s Art Show
October 1 - November 1
The Governor’s Art Show artists have produced stunning works of art that will be on display in the Loveland Museum.
The safety of our patrons, volunteers, museum staff, and artists is our chief concern. This year wellbeing will have to come ahead of the Show’s two missions: Promoting Colorado’s visual artists and raising funds for charitable causes.
With this in mind, the Show Committee has streamlined events to accommodate our health department recommendations for gatherings. Here are some important details:
How to purchase art
Online sales will open to the public at noon Sept. 26. Art purchases, artist previews, and images of artwork for sale will all be available on GovernorsArtShow.org and on the Governor’s Art Show Facebook page and Instagram profile.
How to see the show in person
Of course, seeing the work in the museum is still the ideal experience. The month-long show will be held at the Loveland Museum, opening at noon Sept. 26. Exhibit admission is $7 and free for museum members. The museum will be able to accommodate up to 50 visitors at a time to ensure proper social distancing. Staff, volunteers, and visitors will be required to wear face coverings during the initial reopening phase. Patrons who are in one or more of the high-risk categories are encouraged to visit the museum during special hours on Wednesdays from noon – 1 p.m. and Fridays from 2 -3 p.m. However, seniors and people with serious medical conditions are encouraged to see the show through a virtual tour that will be available on the website.
Thank you for your understanding and support in making the Colorado Governor’s Art Show a success.
