SOMETHING RED ART INSTALLATION
February 12 - March 12
The Loveland Creative District has accepted seven proposals for art installations or window paintings in vacant Downtown Loveland storefronts throughout the Loveland Creative District, that feature local artists’ interpretations of the color RED.
Something RED challenges artists to channel the varied meanings of the color RED. It is the color of action, violence, heat. It is the color of luck, happiness, and passion. RED is more than a color.
In an effort to support downtown businesses and to create a downtown that everyone can enjoy, the locations chosen are both prominent and diverse. Seven qualified artists have been assigned to vacant retail window spaces in the Loveland Creative District to install sculptural installation work, window painting, light installations, window vignettes or dioramas that liven up the atmosphere and engage the public during the month of February.
The exhibit will kick off during Night on the Town on Feb. 12th and run through March 12th, 2021.
