Museum of Arts and Cultures. Sign up for all three Tuesday Thrillers for the price of two.
Tuesday Thrillers are presentations for inquisitive adults and tots through teens. Tickets are $5 per

Tuesday, May 18 at 6 pm: Cryptozoology for Kids
Denver author Lija Fisher explores cryptozoology – the search for hidden animals that might be real.
Fisher is the author of two novels, The Cryptid Catcher and The Cryptid Keeper, about a 13-year-old
boy who inherits a job hunting legendary creatures.

Tuesday, June 15 at 6 pm: Dragons and Demons

Natli VanDerWerken, Denver award-winning author of the fantasy series The Dragon’s Children,
investigates whether dragons and demons could be real. Every culture around the world has some kind
of myth or legend about these brutes. Could dragons and demons be ready to return at any time?

Tuesday, July 20 at 6 pm: Taming Chaos: Centaur Myths

The centaur is a creature from Greek mythology described as half-man and half-horse. Christopher
Muscato, Adjunct in the Department of History at the University of Northern Colorado, examines the
history of centaur myths from Ancient Greece through today.

The Museum’s current Main Gallery exhibit, Magical and Mythical Animals in Human Imagination,
highlights fantastical creatures through the eyes of children around the world. The exhibition,
showcasing drawings by youth ages 4-19 from 13 different countries, runs through July 24. For the
