The Northern Colorado Cattle Baron’s Ball is a premier cancer fundraising event benefiting the mission of the American Cancer Society. Sponsors and individuals hosted small gatherings of people at their businesses or homes for a western-themed evening followed by a short online program, allowing the American Cancer Society to engage more people in the mission and remain safe within pandemic guidelines. The event had over 400 participants from around the country who listened to country music from Collin Raye and bid on close to 100 auction items, including guitars signed by Jimmy Buffet, Eric Church, Taylor Swift and Charlie Daniels. The event raised $449,000. Despite the distance, guests came together and shared their energy and passion to save lives and raise funds for services so significantly needed by those touched by cancer.
