Around 3,200 attendees gathered for a fun-filled day at the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department (RCVFD) Mountain Festival, raising about $32,000 to support the department. Held near RCVFD Station No. 1, the festival featured live performances by Liz Barnez, Wendy Woo, Also Known As, and Choice City Trio, thanks to the Bohemian Foundation partnership. Festival highlights included K-9 demonstrations, a kids’ activity and petting area, bake and plant sales, a car show, 47 vendor booths and a massive book sale. The event also featured food vendors, not-for-profit group tents and a commemorative t-shirt booth. Annual festival favorites like free admission, ice cream and a tractor-pulled hayride shuttle added to the fun.
