Now in its 11th year, FoCo Fondo has grown from a scrappy local ride into one of Northern Colorado’s most beloved cycling weekends. Presented by Fat Tire, this year’s event welcomed nearly 2,000 riders of all abilities from 42 states and seven countries across routes ranging from 12 to 118 miles through the roads and gravel leading to New Belgium Brewing. The race was livestreamed and featured a $15,000 purse split equally across men’s, women’s and gender-expansive categories. What sets FoCo Fondo apart is its commitment to access and its collaboration with the nonprofit Friends of FoCo Fondo, which provides scholarships, clinics, adaptive athlete access and community connection.
