Third Annual Cereal Box Community Concert to Raise Funds for Wellington Food Pantry

By: Staff

The Wellington Community Services Center/Food Pantry is excited to announce its upcoming Cereal Box Community Concert on Thursday, June 18. Benefiting the Wellington Community Services Center/Food Pantry, the concert will be held at 6 p.m. at Wellington Manor, located at 3922 Cleveland Ave.

Longtime Front Range legendary band After the Fire is bringing the heat to Wellington with a high-energy night of rock, funk and dance music featuring rock and roll covers from the ’70s to today. Admission to the show is a $10 donation and a box of cereal. Kids are free. A $10 donation provides 40 meals for families in the Wellington region.

All donations collected at the event will go to the Wellington Food Pantry to provide food and support for the area’s most vulnerable. Last year’s concert yielded over 480 boxes of cereal for the food pantry.

“It’s called the Cereal Box Concert because cereal is one of the most requested items at the food pantry,” says Mark Gabbert, president of the Grace Village board of directors and the visionary behind the Community Services Center/Food Pantry project.

The community is invited to join the family-friendly Cereal Box Community Concert and help raise both funds and cereal for the Food Pantry. Enjoy great music while supporting a good cause. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets can be purchased at wellingtoncsc.org/events. Presenting sponsors include Poudre Valley REA, The Colorado Trust, Black Hills Energy, Wellington Manor, Meridian Trust Credit Union, Kristi Visocky Memorial Fund, FNBO, OtterCares Foundation and Republic Services.
